About the Danish Chamber Players


Danish Chamber Players (national name: "Ensemble Storstrøm" aka "Storstrøms Kammerensemble") is a professional chamber music ensemble with the unusual combination of the 8 instruments:


Flute, Clarinet, Bassoon

Harp, Piano

Violin, Viola and Cello


All the musicians occupy full time positions in the ensemble, thus enabling them to perform at the highest level and to communicate chamber music to a modern society.


Their diverse activities include concerts, recordings, tours, teaching, chamber operas etc.


The ensemble enjoys substantial financial support from
The Danish Arts Council as well as local and regional authorities.
