Founded in 1991 the Danish Chamber Players (Ensemble Storstrøm) have established themselves as one of the leading chamber music ensembles in Denmark.
Due to its unusual combination of eight instruments: flute, clarinet, bassoon, harp, piano, violin, viola and cello, the Danish Chamber Players project a unique sound and have a distinct repertoire that includes more than 100 commissioned works by Danish and international composers.
